Profile placement
« on: November 15, 2015, 02:44:47 PM »
I've found a theme which looks pretty good and I'd love to customize it. I haven't done any changes to .css file so why doest it show profiles like that?
What is causing that?

Thanks for your answers.

Hi xewax,

That looks like there is a error in the table coding or div coding for the Newest Profile Pictures TPL file.

It is basically impossible to find the coding error without seeing a live demo of the template so someone could check the source coding.

I do notice that the Newest Profiles has been shifted to the left so this may be effecting the shift right of the profiles but this is just a guess.

I think It's an issue with a template. Because when I use another skin, everything is fine. I don't know how to fix it.

I remember this template and it is not a 2.54 or above template but I converted a couple of years ago for someone.

In your default.css find
Code: [Select]
.rp_sg_head {
    color: #6F6F6F;
    font-weight: bold;
    font-variant: small-caps;
    background-image: url("../../templates/black/images/rp_sg_head.png");
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-position: 0px top;
    text-indent: 20px;
    height: 30px;
    margin-bottom: -7px;
    padding-top: 7px;
    border: 1px solid #DFDFDF;
}

Replace with
Code: [Select]
.rp_sg_head {
    color: #6F6F6F;
    font-weight: bold;
    font-variant: small-caps;
    background-image: url("../../templates/black/images/rp_sg_head.png");
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-position: 0px top;
    text-indent: 20px;
    height: 30px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    padding-top: 7px;
    border: 1px solid #DFDFDF;
}

That should work for you.

Hi xewax,

The problem using this template with osdate 2.6.5 is you will run into more errors because it's not compatible with this version.

Even though scvoyager is helping you, maybe you should get a template that is compatible or get it converted.

How do I know which template is compatible with osdate 2.6.5.
Couldn't find many templates on Google.

Hi xewax,

Either look for osdate 2.6 templates or ask scvoyager for the one that is converted already, he makes templates, click on his link below his name to view his templates.

Just to note the template you have was made for version 2.19 and as Pharg said you are going to come across other problems with it so don't waist your time.

Best advise I can give you is use the default template and learn, test and setup osdate the way it works best for you.
