Bootstrapper here we come!
« on: July 25, 2015, 08:08:54 AM »
Good news Guys!

I found a neat framework I am going to implement from the get go! It's called skeleton framework, it's got 12 totally responsive positions even fit for mobile and proper classes for nice typography, styling and it's a mere 400 lines of code! The bonus is, it's built only with html and css! Yay I am so excited I had to share this!

Hi blacksmoke90,

Sounds great, would like to see when it's done.

I just hope it's easy to edit for members to do.

Yes you can have a look at it www.getskeleton.com the classes is not fully-fledged I still need to add some of my own classes to make it perfect, but when I am done with the template, which is going to take a while I will develop a plugin where users can set properties of classes like colors etc. It's really as simple as this
lets say we have a menu and some content beneath it, this is what it will look like
Code: [Select]
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>

  <!-- Basic Page Needs
  –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– -->
  <meta charset="utf-8">

  <!-- Mobile Specific Metas
  –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– -->
  <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">

  <!-- FONT
  –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– -->
  <link href="//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway:400,300,600" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

  <!-- CSS
  –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– -->
  <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css">
  <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/skeleton.css">

  <!-- Favicon
  –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– -->
  <link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="images/favicon.png">

</head>
<body>

  <!-- Primary Page Layout
  –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– -->
  <div class="containermenu u-pull-right stripbarcontainer"><h2>
  something one </h2>
  </div>
  <div class="container">
    <div class="row">
      <div class="one-half column" style="margin-top: 25%">
        <h4>Basic Page</h4>
        <p>This index.html page is a placeholder with the CSS, font and favicon. It's just waiting for you to add some content! If you need some help hit up the <a href="http://www.getskeleton.com">Skeleton documentation</a>.</p>
      </div>
    </div>
  </div>

<!-- End Document
  –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– -->
</body>
</html>
/* PLEASE REFER TO Primary PAGE LAYOUT   now 'containermenu' has some css properties to make it be the full width of the body since it's the parent class 'u-pull-right' has 'float: right'   for incase we want to create more elements they all will float right and say margin-right:10px which makes it look professional, then it's 'stripbarcontainer' (this is found in the background color section) we only specify the bgcolor not the color property aswell for incase we want some elements to have another text color!) It's really simple, maybe I will have a language file where all the classes and id's properties can be changed to make it easier for the non developers. Another important thing is I am going to try really hard to make a module so users can place their includes in positions, but not right now. When this is successfully completed it will save a lot of time, users only need to create divs with content and add classes. */
When I've successfully intergrated the framework for the index.page I will release the alpha stage script it should be around monday evening so that you
all can get a feel for it.

Good Evening

Sorry I haven't gotten back yet. I had a busy week, very late nights and little sleep. About materializecss Framework, currently you have to add the JS functions to make your  markup work, I want to add the JS so that users only have to include classes in markup. I decided not to include my own template as I would like to see what users comes up with! I am busy adding my own conditions to the EULA - the most important would be if you use Osdate 2.65 with the UI framework is that you MAY NOT sell your templates and it should be free!
