« on: February 13, 2018, 04:58:42 PM »
Hi,

We are trying to use osDateEvo to provide more communications to users with mail.

Does EVO use the native smtp mail in the unix kernel?

Thx

Hi R D,

Just have the email settings as Mail ( Standard Mail) and it will send both html or Text emails what you set it to, default is html.
You can set it up as SMTP also in the Email settings area in the admin.

Create a admin@domain.com with you server and add it in the mail settings in the admin under Site Global Configurations > Site Information Site Administrator's E-Mail: admin@domain.com

Hi magnummac59,

Thanks for that, it would be great if you can share to the members so if they want to use gmail then
they can follow your instructions on how to set it up.
