Index.html Template Issue
« on: July 21, 2015, 06:17:15 AM »
Good Day
Firstly I would like to thank the osDate team, you guys have done an awesome job. Since I found no good free themes, I decided to build my own, it's just so much easier plus I can make it responsive. So I have a problem I can't seem to find index.html that renders the landing page, because I want to add  smooth scrolling to anchor I've found the place to add the js, but now where do I put the anchor because when I try to access index.html I've tried all of them I get a message saying "This folder is not accessible", basically what I'm trying to do is you can see my page here www.sa-only.co.za is when the user clicks the search button it should scroll down to the anchor - I only started with the theme a few hours ago so it's still very raw. I hope this is clear enough can someone maybe help me?

Thanks in advance!

Hi blacksmoke90,

There is no index.html file, it's index.php and index.tpl
The Template you have being Juno, is another members work from this forum and you have many errors in it since you have made changes to it.

You need to learn the script if you want to make the templates usable for others and make it your own work would be good.

Hi blacksmoke90,

There is no specific language but the templates use Smarty 2 Tags which can be found at http://www.smarty.net/

The default template is the main folder for the templates.
