Title: Plugin templates
Post by: ba1122 on June 06, 2017, 10:44:03 AM
Hello!

the templates of the plugins are stored in the plugin/templates/default directory. So, if I wanna change them how to do best?
Thanks!

if you want to change them then you edit those files. A far as I know it's the only way.

So, that means I can't create custom directory in this case?

depends by what you mean by custom directory..

if you use a different template then you'd create a custom directory within each plugin templates folder relating to the template you're using so the script locates the correct files otherwise it'll just use the default files.

if that makes sense.. :)

Ok, that is it. I create a template-directory for the plugin with the same name of my custom template.

Hi ba1122,

Good to hear you worked it out  :)

Normally most custom templates will use some resources from the default template if they can't find whats needed.
