Hi heebeha,

I am aware of this issue, it is generating profile images but it's installing them in the wrong area.
Will look into it when I get spare time

PS: The original developers didn't even fix this one either!!!

Hi Heebeha,

Here is a little suprise about osDateEvo, it is just a adavnced version of osDate v2.6.5 with updates, mostly done to the init.php the install files some database fixes and the libs plus all the templates.

So if it worked in osDate v2.6.5 and the plugin is still the same one, it should still be working.
Only thing I guessing you have changed is the version PHP it's running on, correct???

Did you not read my announcement??
If it's not working correctly in PHP 5.6 change back to PHP 5.4!!!

I have never looked at the code in it, so I could not give you a time frame, it's holiday time so  I wont be working
on the script all the time sorry to say, I think we deserve a holiday break also.

Hi Heebeha,

I had a quick look at the autogenprofile plugin and it worked 90% perfectly, NO Errors Showed at all in PHP 5.4
Profiles are created with correct birthdays and ages now, only problem is the pics are going into the incorrect files, they are all going into the temp folder for some strange reason.

No big issue just yet, just add a pic later on as you edit the profiles to be more complete until this can be sorted, if it can be fixed that is.

I looked at osDatePDO version and they removed autogenprofile plugin all together so I can't find a quick fix at all to get this sorted, it will take some time and there is no guarantee that I can fix it at all since the last developers didn't fix it either, must have been to much of a hassle.

Will look at it more later on, when I am not busy and have spare time, no guarantee it can be fixed by me though, I am not a hard coder.

Thank you.  Where are the photos files going and where are threy supposed to go?
Maybe I can just move them to the right location and then the photos will populate to the profiles

Hi Heebeha,

As I said above, they are all going into the temp folder.

Moving them won't fix the problem and won't associate them with the Auto profiles.

Since the plugin hasn't been updated in a very long time, since osDate v2.19 way back when the photo's
all use to just go in to the userimages folder that use to be in the main root of the script and also into the temp folder

So the problem is, the userimages path never got changed to the new system in osDate v2.5.4 where they changed this photos system and moved userimages into the temp folder and also into the temp/cache/userimages
plus each user photo gets a user id folder like 5 etc.

So that's a lot of changes to make, if it can be done at all, so far I haven't found the file that is creating the images at all. I think it's not in the plugin folder at all finding it is going to be a mission

Hi Heebeha,

I did a little test as I remember in the Global settings for the thumbnail images was changed from stored in Database Y
to Database N.

So I tried changing this back to Yes and da da the autogenprofile images now show in the profiles.

This doesn't fix the issue for people storing thin photo's on the host rather than in the Database, but if your prefer it this way, then it is fixed!

To check this setting:
Go to the admin, click the Site's Global Settings, then go to the top Global Settings Group: drop it down to the Profile images and Thumbnails, find Images are to be stored in DB?
Change the N to Y and save.

If your not sure what this means.

The autogenprofile plugin only works using the database as thumbnails, it also puts a hard copy in the temp folder.
