Another bug that screws up the change password page
« on: May 13, 2017, 04:50:02 AM »
When you try to change your password and it fails and says 'DB not found', then goto your modifympass.php and delete the following:

if ($config['forum_installed'] != '' && $config['forum_installed'] != 'NULL') {

          include_once(FORUM_DIR.$config['forum_installed'] . '_forum.php');

         forum_modifympass($conpwd);

      }

Again.  This is similar to my other post.  This clause is talking about some forum which does not exists and therefore affected the password changing ability.  delete it and you got no more issue.

Hi alexchiu,

I have tested changing the password on 2 different testings sites, one with a forum and one without the forum
and neither of them have a problem, passwords change as they are suppose to.

No need to change at all.
