osDate 3 COMING SOON!

I will be releasing osDate3 by the end of 2014

osDate3 runs with the latetest version of Smarty 2 along with upgrades to other files. Do note that version 3 will only install and run with php 5.3 and up.

The template system with the latest version of Smarty 2 stays the same so no need to worry.

You are going to find that the latest version of osDate is not going to install in the future much like what happened to version 2.54 on some server inviorments. The other issue at hand is if you turn on $DB->debug=true; you will see osDate shooting out 100's of errors because the ADOdb Database Library is way out of date (2009) and this is the other issue I'm trying to fix.

I still have a lot of testing to do to make sure everything is working including plugins. Autogen profiles are fixed to show age which seems to be the most important one for people.

Man are you a bad omen or have you been down this road before?

With the upgrade I got the amenu working fine but the umenu will not show plugins? I'm not in a hurry and will look at fixing it soon. The guy that wrote that part of the code no longer has a valid email or website which sucks...

I really didn't like all the plugins anyway except for the autoprofile gen which now works but I liked the google member map portion which is great when you see it working.

Nah I'm not :P and yes I have seen it way to many times before and I just know what to expect that's all, the plugins in the menus don't show in osdate 2.6.5 either, to get the title to show
in the menu I had to remove the @ from the count

Will look into what the rest of the problem is later, busy doing a new gallery for osdate...

Just because either me or you don't like the plugins, doesn't mean they should be over looked and left out ;)

The @count is a valid smarty 2 {tag} and in removing the @ it kills the "if" statement. In my version 4.0.3 which runs on smarty 3 I have the plugins menu and member google map but I can't remember what I changed to make it work.
