Hi HarmoniceHealth,

Just a thought, as I remembered when I first installed a localhost in windows 10 that the mySQL didn't run because of a of IRQ port conflict in the windows.
I had to change the  mySQL IRQ from 80 to 8080 to get it to work, it might be the same problem in the MAC maybe

Hi HarmoniceHealth,

Most localhost scripts don't have a preset password to the Database administration, you need to set it up.

To know what to do with a localhost first it would be better to do some reading or Youtube viewing up on the site you got the software from.

With no database working or connecting, osdate won't work without it.  :(

Not all localhosts are easy to setup and use, I use a few called Xampp, Wampserver32 and EasyPHP DevServer.
You will need to work out which works best on a Mac as I use Windows 10.

https://www.apachefriends.org/faq_osx.html or http://formac.informer.com/wampserver seem to work on a Mac, hope this helps.

Hi HarmoniceHealth,

Sorry to say but it seems that either your localhost is not setup correctly or has a problem with it.

What script are you using as your localhost?

It asks encryption in PHP, What am I to install there?

----

Hi HarmoniceHealth,

Try using this installer attached below.

Delete the old install folder and delete the install.php and replace with this installer attached.

Do not rename the installer, leave it as it is and use in osDateEvo v1.0 only.

If it doesn't work in PHP 5.6 on your server try changing back to PHP 5.4, some settings on a localhost might need adjusting.

Regards, Pharg

running mySQL 5.7.16 - Apache/2.4.23 - PHP/5.6.25 - phpMyAdmin 4.6.4

Anyone an idea? I can't run the installation because osDate can' connect to the database MySQL.
