Hello Pharg,

I created some new pages (not using page management) and added to the system. But it doesn't display these pages, just shows a the a blank box with every feature attached with the index.tpl. Any help will be great. Thanks

Hi kanyeevel,

New pages have be added by using the page management, this way adding the link is much easier.
You haven't told me how your created them or anything just a pic attached that tells me nothing.

Hi aedwall303,

It's called installer, you can download it here: http://www.osdateforum.com/configuration-installation-4/osdate-v2-7-installing-issue-on-xampp-at-step-4/msg8243/#msg8243 and no there is no osDate v2.7 anymore, it was removed.

Can you please be more specific as to the location? The forum is a large place to try and look through.

Thank you again. I do not need or use gifts and it might be an advantage at some point to have a responsive website. That's the only reason I think I might like Evo at some point. I'm still investigating and experimenting.

Thank you for all your help and the added information. But you have failed to address the fundamental problem with using Evo in that it does not allow an update to a current database install. Another user wrote me a message and he has the same trouble. So I think there is a bug somewhere (when system.sql is processed - the database is loaded, but the routine returns a FALSE, which stops further installation). At least that's what the evidence before me suggests (I wrote multiple e-mails, but apparently most were deleted - I think they might have helped others, but I guess that's your call). So take my comments as a bug report, if nothing else.

Hi aedwall303,

Because there was no updates made to the database other than the gifts, there is no reason to have a update or install, So that other person might not know this.

PS: I know who messaged who and they were not upgrading at all, they had a fresh install and didn't have a glue in what to do, I did it for them and had no issues or errors at all.

For your info and everyone else reading this, We have a new installer made but it has not been added to the uploads as yet, it's in our forum so if your not happy with the install process, please use the other installer as it's been fully tested. ;)

Hi aedwall303,

I forgot to tell you, if you have a osDate v2.6 running, you can use that same database without installing EVO.
Just import the gifts.sql and reload the language file in the admin for all other changes.

No other changes to the database have been done yet so it will work fine.
