Hi wp180,

Welcome back, that's all you need as it blocks them to your website.

Hi Breakdown27,

You say your doing this in PHP7 then you should change it to a lower PHP5.4 or 5.6 version as PHP7 doesn't have MySQL support in it at all.

Have you tried the other installer on here, but you still need to change the PHP version?
Use the latest installer.zip, you can download it here: http://www.osdateforum.com/configuration-installation-4/osdate-v2-7-installing-issue-on-xampp-at-step-4/msg8243/#msg8243

Configuration & Installation / Mail filter

Hello.

After a long time im back with osdate :D

I want to block some email domains at signup.php. But i dont know how to do it.

At the .htaccess i use it like this:

order allow,deny
Deny from 31
Deny from 46
Deny from 58
Deny from 60
Deny from 61
Deny from 111
Deny from 117
Deny from 123
Deny from 185
Deny from 193
Deny from 210
Deny from 212
Deny from 218
Deny from 220
Deny from 222
allow from all

But every day i have idiots from this regions, so i think its easier to block all emailadresses, and only allow .fr and .de , maybe .com.

Is its possible to do it?
And can somebody tell me, what OsdateEvo is? Its possible to see a site with Evo?

Thanks and regards
wp180

Hi Breakdown27,

Just install as mysql, don't worry about mysqli, those are changes else where.

Leave the code as it is for now and try it out.

Hi Pharg,

The thing is that i cannot continue from this step(see the attached picture).

Because it keeps complaining about MySQL.

And iknow it does not run on php7 but i will change that later. For now i just want to see it go further than step 1 :D

Regards,
Jesper

Hi Breakdown27,

All good then, PS my host is also using MariaDB and have no issues.

Hi Pharg,

Do you use MySQLi or just MySQL?

Because i can not continue at all when the install complain about MySQL. Do i only change the MySQL code in install.php or is it more files to change?

Jesper

Hi Breakdown27,

I take it your using a localhost on Windows 10?

If so the port to the MySQL or Apache is have a conflict with port 80, change to port 8080 and it will work. restart the localhost and then install

Hi Pharg,

Oh snap! I forgot to mention im using a hosting provider called one.com!

Sorry about forgetting that info aswell. Localhost is no problem at all to install it :) I dont use xampp or wamp tho. :)

But that problem is on the hosting provider that is using phpmyadmin/MariaDB. And it will only work if i change MySQL to MySQLi :)

Jesper
