Hi Dave,

You don't need to change anything as the script will run in http or https

Hi Phil,

yes i need, as some of the additional features like Location for the weather widget only work via https (thnx to google) and when i put a link in http the whole weather widget that i put in place is not working.....

Hi Dave,

The SSL via https in controlled in the init.php as this about line 281:
Code: [Select]
if (isset($_SERVER['HTTPS'])) {
$HTTP = 'https://';
} else {
$HTTP = 'http://';
}
I wouldn't change this as it would muck up the sites settings.

It should be the widgets settings that you should be changing not the osDateEvo's core settings.

If you have this running in SSL already then osDate should already be in https secure mode.

Add a https to the widget link or code then it might work.

try this in htaccess file in root this will auto redirect to https if its active

Code: [Select]
    RewriteCond %{HTTPS} =on
    RewriteRule ^ - [env=proto:https]
    RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
    RewriteRule ^ - [env=proto:http]
Solve The Problem, Write The Code :)
