WhitePersonals.net does not conduct criminal background checks or screening. Anyone who is able to commit identity theft can also set up a fake dating profile.

rn
Always use good judgement and take precautionary measures when communicating and/or meeting any stranger.

rn
Your dating profile should never list your full or last name, personal e-mail address, home address, home or cell number, where you work, or any other private personal information that could make it easy to identify you. It is recommended that you make a new e-mail address specifically for use with your registering an account with WhitePersonals.net; this e-mail should not include any part of your real name, and should use a different password from your WhitePersonals.net account - and, for that matter, a different password from any other online account of any sort you might have. Always use caution in giving out any personal information in your private messages. Never continue to communications with anyone who pressures you for personal or financial information, or attempts, in any way, to trick you into revealing it. Please report such incidents to our customer service department.

rn
If you decide to have a real meeting with another member from our dating site, always tell a friend or family member where you are going and when you will be back. Always plan first meetings in a public well lighted area, where other people are nearby. Never give a stranger your personal address or invite them to your home. Always provide your own personal transportation to and from the date.

Hi Wolfman14,

In the init.php find on line 704
Code: [Select]
function checkRequestData() {
$conn = mysql_connect(DB_HOST, DB_USER, DB_PASS);
foreach ($_GET as $k => $val) {
if (!is_array($val)){$val = mysql_real_escape_string($val, $conn); }
$_GET[$k] = $val;
}
foreach ($_POST as $k => $val) {
if (!is_array($val)){$val = mysql_real_escape_string($val, $conn); }
$_POST[$k] = $val;
}
}

Change it to
Code: [Select]
function checkRequestData() {
$conn = mysql_connect(DB_HOST, DB_USER, DB_PASS);
/*
foreach ($_GET as $k => $val) {
if (!is_array($val)){$val = mysql_real_escape_string($val, $conn); }
$_GET[$k] = $val;
}
foreach ($_POST as $k => $val) {
if (!is_array($val)){$val = mysql_real_escape_string($val, $conn); }
$_POST[$k] = $val;
}
*/
}

Do the same in minimum_init.php also on line 189 :)

Argh.... I finally get around to replacing the init and minimum_init files, and this happens:

And yup, used the correct username and password in the appropriate boxes, three times in a row and same error each time.

Hi Wolfman14,

Did you undo the changes to see if the admin works again??

I really can't see these are related but try putting back the init.php as it was and test the admin.

I just undid the changes and yup, I can log in again.

This is especially frustrating because, with my crappy host server that won't let me edit my files online, I'm simply deleting the existing ones and replacing them with the edited ones. Now I'm thinking the ones I have to start with include some code modified from the original which your versions don't include - so when I replace them, the crucial bit of original code no longer exists, causing the problem.

Looking through the code, I spot one difference near the end:

Original file:

Modified file:

Could those double slashes be related to the problem?

Hi Wolfman14,

Yes I made a error in that sorry, it should be
Quote
function checkRequestData() {
   $conn = mysql_connect(DB_HOST, DB_USER, DB_PASS);
/*   foreach ($_POST as $k => $val) {
      if (!is_array($val)){$val = mysql_real_escape_string($val, $conn); }
      $_GET[$k] = $val;
   }
   foreach ($_POST as $k => $val) {
      if (!is_array($val)){$val = mysql_real_escape_string($val, $conn); }
      $_POST[$k] = $val;
   }*/
}

I put in // which was wrong it should have been /*    */

And... the registered nurses are gone from the news articles! So the original problem has definitely been solved.
