« on: December 23, 2014, 10:04:43 PM »
Hi!
I use V2.19a for a while now and now my database is getting larger and larger.. in my version the org. uploaded member pictures are stored without resizing in the database.
Now I want to show all the pictures (to myself.. to find large pistures so i can manualy edit them) with a database query but i can't get it right.
Das enyone know how to do this?

Hi Vink,

If I remember correctly, if you change the store on database to N in the admin,  it puts all the photo's on the server in the userimages folder for that version.
Then you can view all the userimages inside.

I would make a backup and do a clone of the main site to test this on first before trying it on the main website though.
I hope this helps and is what your looking for :)

Once you do that you, also need to do the following as stated in this post. to convert them from Database to files.

Hi!

Thanks Pharg and CBG for the quick reply! I has seen the transferpics.php but i really do want the pictures to stay in the database..
Finally i get this morning the database query right and now i can show all pictures.
It was a surprice (and not) to see how large many! pictures are.. same members has 3 or more pictures of nearly 1 mb. stored in database!!
No wonder the loadingtime and database become so big..
I am now bizzy to manualy resize all big profiel images.. its a lot of work..
Going to see if resize uploaded pictures immediately before storing them in database.
Thanks!
