removing the free membership button from upgrade page?

In the payment.tpl find this  on line 86 and remove it.

Just delete the Free Membership in the admin/ Member Management and all the free stuff should disappear.

thanks yes that worked, so now how would i let users that are not gold send a few messages and do everything a free user use to be able to do? or do i just set up a new membership called something else that is free?

Try making the Silver Membership one as your Free one??
