Images in Dropdown List
« on: August 21, 2017, 07:13:59 AM »
Hi all,

i would like to know, how i can get an image into a dropdown list.
My idea is, to have left the text and at the right to place the image.

Thanks

Hi olfa,

You could do it like this, sizing might be limited though.

Add like this:
&nbsp;<img src='images/button_edit.png' alt='' border='0' />

Example:
Code: [Select]
<a href="javascript:popUpScrollWindow2('{if $config.seo_username == 'Y'}{$smarty.session.UserName}{else}{$smarty.session.UserId}.htm{/if}','top',650,screen.height)">{lang mkey='view_profile'}</a>
Change to:
Code: [Select]
<a href="javascript:popUpScrollWindow2('{if $config.seo_username == 'Y'}{$smarty.session.UserName}{else}{$smarty.session.UserId}.htm{/if}','top',650,screen.height)">{lang mkey='view_profile'}&nbsp;<img src='images/button_edit.png' alt='' border='0' /></a>
Have fun with this.

Hi Olaf Klausen,

Because those are created in the database and the template shares some of these sections as one, I don't think it can be done sorry.

You can try to add one image for each drop down section by editing the templates editquestions.tpl and the nickpage_section.tpl to see if you can work it out, it's not going to be easy.

Or you can hire a coder or template developer to see if they can work it out.

Hi Olfa,

No worries, I think you might be able to do it to the editquestions.tpl worth a try  ;)
