HI installed a 2.6 version having first tested with a 2.54. yes i know odd. however in the members gallery  if they try to edit gets warning no image found.
 i thought to maybe disable the editing for now and try again it the new worked patch 2.61(?) is ok i might re install.
is this a known bug? and where can i find the form to comment out the edit part, i have searched the tpl files but  cant find it

just did a reinstall locally to test and getting same errot "no image found" so it would appear to be a path problem.
the path shown in the edit page is http://localhost/date/imageEditor/index.php?picid=2&userid=93&typ=pic&generate_tnpic=Y

the image is in  that user directory ( 93) with name pic_2.jpg. i see an entry into database  in user_snaps for that image. any ideas??

The problem is that it creates a folder in your tmp files with the wrong chmod changing this manualy would show the picture in edit. I don't know if it is worth the bother to dig to deep into it not a great future any way. Miss alligned or different crop than intented.
Kind regards,

thanks for replying, i removed the button in the tpl file as we felt it wasnt really needed anyway.
the rest of the problem was code regarding the session that i removed on suggestion from a different post.

File imageEditor/index.php

Code: [Select]
if (!file_exists($activeDirectory)) {
mkdir($activeDirectory);
chmod($activeDirectory,'0777');
}
if (!file_exists($editDirectory)) {
mkdir($editDirectory);
chmod($editDirectory,'0777');
}
if (!file_exists($originalDirectory)) {
mkdir($originalDirectory);
chmod($originalDirectory,'0777');
}

I changed it to this:

Code: [Select]
if (!file_exists($activeDirectory)) {
mkdir($activeDirectory);
chmod($activeDirectory,0777);
}

mkdir($editDirectory);
chmod($editDirectory,0777);

mkdir($originalDirectory);
chmod($originalDirectory,0777);

File imageEditor/imageEditor.js

Code: [Select]
window.close();I changed it to this:
Code: [Select]
      setTimeout('window.close()',5000)

Editing a photo works but the file has no security, and you can edit pictures of any user, even when not logged.

At the beginning of the file, insert:
Code: [Select]
if ( !defined( 'SMARTY_DIR' ) ) {

include_once( '../minimum_init.php' );

}
include('../sessioninc.php');
if($_REQUEST['userid'] = $_SESSION['UserId']) {

At the end of the insert PHP code:
Code: [Select]
}
