it does not work as should, when people click yes on a member that member should recieve a notification telling them which member likes them, they can then decide to chat or not, im sure it may have worked at some point lol,

Hi mnarkyp77,

It has never been designed to send email notifications ever that I know of, why did you think it does?

that is how hot or not works everywhere else, otherwise members would be clicking on members pics for no reason at all, if you look at some of the scripts out there other scripts do even more and include chat etc,

Hi mnarkyp77,

I am aware of what other hot or not scripts do, but please remember these were written a few years back just updated and they were
created by osdate for there own dating script.

So if you need it to do the same as what you have seen elsewhere, then they would have to be fully rewritten.

In saying this, that means the Hot or Not are Not faulty and do work as they were written :)

Here is a very good reason not to have everything sending out emails!

The reason I say the hot or not works perfect is because it does, if it sent out emails, everytime someone clicked hot and sent a email, there would be heaps of emails being sent, years back where websites were warned not to send out to many email's as this was and is considered spam and can get your website marked as a spammer site.

Hence why most websites relay on a few main email notification's to let you know you have a message at domain name
It's one of the reason's I turn off most notifications from osDate so it's not spamming the members.

OsDate sends out to many emails as it is, unlike Facebook where it has a notification system where one email can tell you have notifications.

It only takes one member to complain to the Spam Cops and you website will be marked as one.

Hi mnarkyp77,

For now if the plugin is not showing in the menu you can type www.domain.com/   plugin.php?plugin=advhotornot
What version PHP are you using at the moment?
