Confirming Registration Error
« on: February 20, 2014, 04:28:33 PM »
The specified confirmation code is not correct or the account has already been confirmed

Is what I get when I try to confirm the email sent out from Osdate 2.6. I don't think the registration process is passing on the info to the database. What would be the cause of this. I have reinstalled 8 times with same error.

I have looked and found no user name or pending profiles, it is just not passing through to mysql? I did not have any install errors at all using

MySQL client version: 5.0.23
Osdate 2.6

First thing you can try to disable the "send confirmation mail to new users" in your Admin. and see if the data is saved in the database.
Whats the url of your website?
osDate 2.19a | PHP 5.3.8 | MySQL  5.0.91

Thank you, but I have discovered the error. In php.ini I did not have mcrypt.dll  enabeled, and I guess that is needed when assigning a code to users who register through email. I can't be positive about this but its what made the difference for me after I enabled it.

Any ideas if this was a fluke or is that extension needed for Osdate to actually work. Either way I am pleased with the perfect install of 2.6 Besides some depreciated values in init.php  simply fixed by removing the & sign on a couple lines!
