I will look at it later today if I get a chance. They can be side by side in desktop and stacked in mobile I pretty sure. I really want to get the comments working. It is feeding to the database fine and coming back but the text is hidden for some reason.

You could also go with a single upload without the thumb. Shown is a single with photo set to 200px wide.

Hi mnarkyp77,

Here is how to add a description to the pop up photo's

In userpicgallery.tpl find the code on line 81:
Code: [Select]
<div style="display:inline; float:left;">
<img src="getsnap.php?id={$userid}&amp;typ=tn&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;album_id={$album_id}" alt="{$pic.picno}"  onclick="enlarge(this);" longdesc="getsnap.php?id={$userid}&amp;typ=full&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;album_id={$album_id}" id="pic{$pic.picno}" border="0" class="smallpic" title="{$pic.pic_descr}" />&nbsp;
</div>

Change it to:
Code: [Select]
<div style="display:inline; float:left;">
<img src="getsnap.php?id={$userid}&amp;typ=tn&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;album_id={$album_id}" alt="{$pic.pic_descr}"  onclick="enlarge(this);" longdesc="getsnap.php?id={$userid}&amp;typ=full&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;album_id={$album_id}" id="pic{$pic.picno}" border="0" class="smallpic" title="{$pic.pic_descr}" />&nbsp;{$pic.pic_descr}
</div>

And in nickpage_albumdisplay.tpl find the code on line 9:
Code: [Select]
<img src="getsnap.php?id={$user.id}&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;typ=tn&amp;width=45&amp;height=45" class="smallpic" style="margin:2px 1px 1px 1px;" onclick="enlarge(this);" longdesc="getsnap.php?id={$user.id}&amp;typ=full&amp;picid={$pic.picno}" id="pic{$pic.picno}" alt="" title="{$pic.pic_descr}" />
Change it to:
Code: [Select]
<img src="getsnap.php?id={$user.id}&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;typ=tn&amp;width=45&amp;height=45" class="smallpic" style="margin:2px 1px 1px 1px;" alt="{$pic.pic_descr}" onclick="enlarge(this);" longdesc="getsnap.php?id={$user.id}&amp;typ=full&amp;picid={$pic.picno}" id="pic{$pic.picno}" title="{$pic.pic_descr}" />
Now when you click on the photo's there will be a description in the top of the photo ONLY if the photo has a description.
In the additional photo's in the profiles, on the first pic still seems to have no description though, any further photos added do have one until I find the fix to that.

If this is what you are looking for I can post the file. Their is one css change and a new css class to size the photo for desktop and mobile.

Hi mnarkyp77,

Here is how to add a description to the pop up photo's

In userpicgallery.tpl find the code on line 81:
Code: [Select]
<div style="display:inline; float:left;">
<img src="getsnap.php?id={$userid}&amp;typ=tn&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;album_id={$album_id}" alt="{$pic.picno}"  onclick="enlarge(this);" longdesc="getsnap.php?id={$userid}&amp;typ=full&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;album_id={$album_id}" id="pic{$pic.picno}" border="0" class="smallpic" title="{$pic.pic_descr}" />&nbsp;
</div>

Change it to:
Code: [Select]
<div style="display:inline; float:left;">
<img src="getsnap.php?id={$userid}&amp;typ=tn&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;album_id={$album_id}" alt="{$pic.pic_descr}"  onclick="enlarge(this);" longdesc="getsnap.php?id={$userid}&amp;typ=full&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;album_id={$album_id}" id="pic{$pic.picno}" border="0" class="smallpic" title="{$pic.pic_descr}" />&nbsp;{$pic.pic_descr}
</div>

And in nickpage_albumdisplay.tpl find the code on line 9:
Code: [Select]
<img src="getsnap.php?id={$user.id}&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;typ=tn&amp;width=45&amp;height=45" class="smallpic" style="margin:2px 1px 1px 1px;" onclick="enlarge(this);" longdesc="getsnap.php?id={$user.id}&amp;typ=full&amp;picid={$pic.picno}" id="pic{$pic.picno}" alt="" title="{$pic.pic_descr}" />
Change it to:
Code: [Select]
<img src="getsnap.php?id={$user.id}&amp;picid={$pic.picno}&amp;typ=tn&amp;width=45&amp;height=45" class="smallpic" style="margin:2px 1px 1px 1px;" alt="{$pic.pic_descr}" onclick="enlarge(this);" longdesc="getsnap.php?id={$user.id}&amp;typ=full&amp;picid={$pic.picno}" id="pic{$pic.picno}" title="{$pic.pic_descr}" />

Description works on ALL photo's in the userpicgallery.tpl
Thanks much man, I'm going to try this out right now.  8)

Yeah deffo, the other setup is far to confusing for people who just wanna upload a pic and add a comment, plus I think it looks a lot better, the idea of having the pic showing 200px is much better too

Hi scvoyager, I also like the single photo idea.

Here is a preview of the new gallery changes I have done so far.

Download the enlargeit.js and backup your one before replacing it with this one in the javascript folder.
