Website Title in Emails
« on: February 13, 2013, 09:31:25 AM »
Sick of sending admin@domain.net etc Want it to Say osDate Dating or whatever the title you have.

In osDate Version 2.5.4 and 2.6 open the folders includes/internal/ find Functions.php

In Functions.php Find this about line 414:
Code: [Select]
$row['hdr_from'] = addslashes($hdr_from);
Change To:
Code: [Select]
$row['hdr_from'] = sprintf("%s <%s>", $config['site_name'], $hdr_from);
Save the update.

That's all there is to it.

Sorry people, the above code change causes a error in the send letter in admin.

Here is the code that works without any issues for osDate 2.5.4 and 2.6

In Functions.php Find this about line 414:
Code: [Select]
$row['hdr_from'] = addslashes($hdr_from);
Change it to:
Code: [Select]
$row['hdr_from'] =  strstr($hdr_from, '<') ? $hdr_from : sprintf("%s <%s>", $config['site_name'], $hdr_from);
All done.  :)
