Is there any way to Remove entirely the number of users online, or modify it to show a different number than the users online?

I know how to do it on phpBB, But can't figure out how to on OsDate yet.

If you delete the English language in osDate you may get missing, text on the site, here is how to fix it.

1). Login to admin section. But there no text and just boxes and a small button like thing.
First box is the username. Enter your admin username.
Second box is the password. Enter you admin password.
The button is for Submit. Just click on it.

2). You will be logged in and it will display some information, without any text, this is ok.

3). Type in the following, into your browser window:
example.com/admin/load_language.php?langname=english&loadlang=english

4). After successful loading, you should be able to see all the text.

Does not work.. suggestions?

Hi analyzes,

Log into admin first.

To get the English loaded again, go to
Quote
/admin/load_language.php
then add
Quote
/admin/load_language.php?langname=english&loadlang=english
then hit enter

Once you get your english loaded back into your site, in the admin you must be logged in.

Go back to Manage Languages, make sure you drop down to English and click Edit Definitions, then in the search put offer_text there you go, it will appear and make sure you save the changes you make.

It should be all go again.

That worked! - thank you for that!   I'm grateful that someone takes the time to help others on a now unsupported script.   Osdate must have been great in its prime, because even now it's still the best free dating script i've found anyway.   I was attempting to modify the "welcome to" and the welcoming intro that for some reason is in the language files, although for some reason no matter if you edit every instance of the intro - it remains in place.  Google catch shows the answer was in the TuFat forums, but that resource is now gone.

everytime you change something in language files you need to upload to server and load language in admin again. If you do the changes in admin with view edit definitions after the change you need to load language files. without the load language files it doesn't show any changes.
