adding language problem
« on: April 22, 2015, 04:52:01 AM »
i just added new language (arabic) as explained in many tutorials-but the file name is not config.php it's named config.inc.php instead-
anyway the language isn't appearing in languages menu in admin area
i have another notice in that config.inc.php that the DB settings section is not set to the right data of the DB
its just
Code: [Select]
define( 'DB_USER', '' );
define( 'DB_NAME', '' );
define( 'DB_HOST', 'localhost' );
define( 'DB_PASS', '' );
define( 'DB_TYPE', 'mysql' );
define( 'DB_PREFIX', 'osdate' );
and by the way, in DB there is only english and bulgarian languages in languages table
so i appreciate any help in that issue
thanks in advance
osdate version 2.5.4
php version  4.0.4

Hello Karim,

How to add a language to osDate is done in the admin section using the Language Management section.

You can find a update lang fiile here https://www.osdateforum.com/announcements-discussion-3/how-to-write-in-arabic-words-on-my-website/

Your version of osdate is also out of date, you might want to use the osdate v265 from our download area in this forum.

config.inc.php is only used during install of osDate and is not normally used once installed.
The main config file is config.php which is in temp/myconfigs/
