Hello mrmrs,

What did you make the new page with and what's the page name?
Was the page made with the admin page system or some other way?
What osDate version are you using?

Hello Jan,

In the main root .htaccess you will need to add a Rewrite Rule,

Example:
Code: [Select]
RewriteRule ^pagename.html$ index.php?page=pagename$1
I hope this helps you  ;)

Thanks, but can you tell me both the guide page names so I can tell you how to add the links and also how to make some changes in .htaccess to get them both to work?

Without the page names I can't help you  :-\

Hello mrmrs,

Ok I have setup those pages in my test site to make sure I have it working, all is good.

This is what you have to do.
Find the main .htaccess file.

Edit the .htaccess and find this code: About line 57
Code: [Select]
# Translates {$id}.htm to showprofile.php?id={$id}
RewriteRule ^([^/]+).htm$ showprofile.php?id=$1

Add this code right after above lines:
Code: [Select]
#### Adding New Pages #####
RewriteRule ^sex_guide.html$ index.php?page=sex_guide
RewriteRule ^swingers_club_listings.html$ index.php?page=swingers_club_listings

Save the Changes.

Then in the templates default folder find the file panelmenu_options.tpl
Edit panelmenu_options.tpl and add these lines of code at line 7:
Should look like this.
Code: [Select]
        <tr>
<td class="panelbox_div" >
<a class="panellink" href="{$docroot}logout.php">{lang mkey='sign_out'}</a>
</td>
</tr>
{* My Profile *}

Change to:
Code: [Select]
<tr>
<td class="panelbox_div" >
          {if $config.enable_mod_rewrite == 'Y'}
<a class="panellink" href="sex_guide.html">Sex Guide</a>
          {else}
            <a class="panellink" href="index.php?page=sex_guide">Sex Guide</a>
          {/if}
</td>
</tr>
    <tr>
<td class="panelbox_div" >
          {if $config.enable_mod_rewrite == 'Y'}
<a class="panellink" href="swingers_club_listings.html">Swingers Club Listings</a>
          {else}
            <a class="panellink" href="index.php?page=swingers_club_listings">Swingers Club Listings</a>
          {/if}
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="panelbox_div" >
<a class="panellink" href="{$docroot}logout.php">{lang mkey='sign_out'}</a>
</td>
</tr>
{* My Profile *}

I hope this is easy for you to understand.

I have also added a zipped copy to make it easier, just unzip and upload
Do not include the Added Pages Folder
