Hi mnarkyp77,

I don't think there is anything wrong with the PayPal, I think the problem is with the
test function being in the sandbox on PayPal's side.

I have a totally different script that uses PayPal and if tested in the sandbox it fails but in real time it works perfect.

You might have to test it with real money to see if the payment goes through.

The was only one person on here that said it didn't work and he wanted it to work with the PayPal IPN which it wasn't setup to do.
CBG has posted on here how to change it to IPN and how to get the IPN to work.

IPN is Instant Payment Notification and if it's not setup correctly on PayPal it will not work.

So you mean if you use the email payment from PayPal it doesn't work, is that correct?

Hi mnarkyp77,

When you test PayPal, just so can understand what you mean.

When you use PayPal, you can pay using a email to attempt to make the payment right, as I do?

I assume you are using a different email account to the one in your PayPal account or payments won't work?

Re: PayPal Module Working Perfect

Hi mnarkyp77,

I just made a live test on the PayPal System and it works perfectly as it should.

I can pay by my partners email and by Credit Card, both ways go through.

Here is a pic of the PayPal payment by email I did today and shows in the payment history.

I did find some differences in your PayPal Module that has been modded by your web guy and the normal PayPal that
comes with the osDate 2.65 script.

If you are having problems with PayPal, I have attached the working files.

Does it work as a reoccurring subscription?  That's what needs to be fixed

Hi heebeha,

Paypal reoccurring payments was never coded into this system by tufat as you know, that would involve changing the code which
has been done many years ago on the tufat forum and CBG also gave you the code from there not to long ago.

So it's not something that needs fixing at all as it's not broken, it just doesn't work how you want it to!

Reoccurring can be added without having it as IPN as I have a different script that does Reoccurring using just a email addy.
Having IPN as what I understand is once it's setup on PayPal to the one website you can't add another website for PayPal payments.

Try checking out these attempts done on it.

and
http://www.osdateforum.com/announcements-discussion-3/when-will-osdate-3-0-be-ready-to-download/msg4712/#msg4712

or why don't you hire a coder to make it for you??

Hi heebeha,

I put together the files that CBG gave you but I haven't tested them, I will let you do that. UNTESTED
If it fails, you can look at the above files to see what is wrong.
Let me know if it works?

I am getting this error message from PayPal.

Invalid Regular period. You must specify valid values for the A3, P3, and T3 parameters for a subscription.

I think we are really close.  Lets get this figured out please.  Its really important

Hi heebeha,

I am not sure what the issue is, do you have all memberships setup ?

I traced all this back to the tufat forum archive where you asked the same thing 5 years ago :P
