Hi Phil,

Thank you :)

But!  I would like to remove/delete that odd/even line of code, so "Allow event management" does not display at the top of the Comparison Chart.

So members/users do not even know Event Management exists :)

Hi Burton,

Edit the lang_main.php and go to line 2400 and remove
Code: [Select]
'event_mgt' => 'Allow event management.',

Save and then reload the main language in the admin or it won't be gone.

Thank you, Thank you Phil,

I was looking for a complex coding solution, and removing "'event_mgt'" that was so easy :)

One other question:

If a Gold memeber (A) creates a new Photo Album named "Private" with a Password

Should a 2nd Gold member (B) be able to access A members Private Album if A sends B their Private Album password?

Was the thinking/design around creating new Album names with Passwords for private photo sharing to other members?

Hi Burton,

Only if they share the password then they can both see the photos, yes.

Hi Phil,

Ok I thought that is how the Private Picture Album should work,

But I have created a Private Album with Member A, with a Password, added a photo, and signed out.

Then I login with Member B, go to Member A's Picture Gallery and the Album drop down only shows Public, 2nd Private Album not in the drop down menu.

On the Video page I can see the Password text Box.

But on the Picture Gallery page there is No Password text Box.

Hi Burton,

I am busy customizing my template at the moment, either someone else can help or
wait for me to check the default template.

I'm not sure but I think each gold member have to be buddies or something like that before they can view also.

Hi Burton,

Did you install a new fresh copy of osdate v2.6.5?
How did you upload the script?

It is best to upload a zipped copy of the file as upload.zip and extract it on the server so you don't get partial damaged files!!

Hi,

What I normally do is download osDate, unzip it.
Then zip up just the osDate files and folder, then upload and unzip on the server.

Hi Phil,

Ok a new upload all done, and seems that all files were correctly uploaded this time,

But now when I copy over my modified templates, all the changes are not appearing,

example, new footer.tpl, yet original footer still displays,

Is there some cache that I need to empty to see the new templates and css?

I did a search yet did not find any clear info explaining  on this.

your help appreciated :)

Hi Burton,

When you changed the tpl files, did you do it in the default template or did you make a new template named folder?

If you did have them in your own template name, have you changed the settings to your template name in the admin, site global settings
so they will show?

As it is highly recommend to have your own template name so they don't get mixed up with old files and overwritten.

It can't be the cache because you only just installed the system.

Just so you know, the cache is stored in the temp/templates_c/ anything in here can be cleared / deleted

Hi Burton,

It's is more than likely a bug when this was changed to work in php 5.4
There is a few of us that have change that system so you don't need a password at all, just hope they share it someday.

There are also a few that are working on updates and bugs to try and help.
