Banner editing
« on: March 04, 2015, 11:50:49 PM »
Hi for everybody.

I would like to ask your help again. It would be my problem that it is admin on a panel allowed the banner editing in a function it, that let two banners figure on the side. The admin I set the time span of the banners that is both on a panel from 2015.03.05 It would be visible until 2015.03.25 on a side. Right yet only test side but I would like it soon if he would be operational.
The banner it is not possible to put it onto left side and right side only below they appear and only a banner appears on a sheet's bottom. The admin is set in such a way on a panel currently now that both banners should appear but only a banner appears next when I refresh the side a few times then the other banner appears. Some refreshing they alternate again the banner and only a banner appears always.I tried to construct it the banner_leftside.tpl-t, banner_rightside.tpl-t, and the banclick.php his content but I was not really left with a success. Something would be somebody's idea in connection with this, that it would be solvable in order for them to appear well the banner advertisings on the side? Was the banner somebody's problem like this already with editing? I wait your answer and thank you the help. With respect: Vargatunde.

Hi Vargatunde,

The Developers of this script never did make the banner script work in the left or right side correctly.

How some of us do it, is removing the {include file="banner_mainpage.tpl"} code from the index.tpl moving the the left side or and on the right side.

If you do this, you can't have in on the bottom of the index.tpl anymore and to run the banners on the left or right side,
they must be vertical up and down banners only.

There is another way to have the banners in all left, right and middle, however this means all the banners must be manually placed in the the pages being left right and middle.
This means you won't be able to use the admin Banner management.

I hope you understand what I mean here.

Hi.

Onto left side and right side I can put the banner into him with a hand. The banner_leftside.tpl and the banner_leftside.tpl it is necessary to rewrite his content. <div* style="padding-left:10px;">
<img src="/images/banner.jpg" width="160" height="160">
</div>
The images into a library it is necessary to charge it to amend the picture file to the name of the picture in a present case here then this the banner.jpg will be. It is possible to modify the size of the picture. I was interested in the fact that it is solvable in order for two or more banners to be visible below only. :)

Hi Vargatunde,

Yes I think you can, if the margins are to big after adding the banner, just change the the 10px; to a smaller size
or if the divides are to big either remove them.

Hi.

Successfully loaded up the banner advertisements with a hand. Under the pictures I wrote the link of the web pages in so if somebody clicks it the banner onto a picture then successfully fills on a new sheet the advertised web page. I was putting it in onto the sheet's bottom and the sheet's left side. I wish everybody an additional beautiful day.
