Forum integration
« on: April 17, 2014, 03:21:28 PM »
osDate claims to be fully integratable with a number of forum scripts.  I have SMF 1.1 installed into my forum folder, have the correct path and type set in the global settings, and yet get the error "osDate_login.php not found", and they are right there is no osDate_login.php file to be found anywhere in the installed script.

I've done quite a bit of searching and have found that maybe I'm missing some sort of "bridge".

The people on the SMF forum are tight lipped and don't even want to maybe help.

I'm sure one of you out there has SMF 1.1 working within your osDate install.  Maybe one of you could move me towards a solution?

I'm capable of making a simple notepad .php file and uploading it, but I'm not sure of the code.

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.  This is the only thing that stands between me and a completely successful install.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi bob I have and installed sm1.1 into osdate and I have uploaded it on this forum int this thread

http://www.osdateforum.com/configuration-installation-4/forum-error/msg2664/?topicseen#new

I had no problem installing it placing it into the forum folder and going to www.yoursite/forum and following the install steps for smf just like when I installed osdate. I then set the global settings and had no problem.
Maybe download your version of osdate again from here and copying the osdate forum files into your osdate forum file and starting again.

Hope I have helped you other than that suggested I don't know what else to say

Maybe I have the path wrong.  Can you give me an example of the path we should use?
